Dear Friends in Christ,
I want to share a challenging and rewarding missionary opportunity God has given to me. My first missionary trip was in 2013 to the Haitian Batey in the Dominican Republic. The Batey’s are villages of Haitian sugar cane cutters living in deep and unrelenting poverty in the Dominican Republic. I have developed friendships that made and continue to make me feel very fulfilled, complete and alive.
In 2016 under the tutelage of Father Yvans and the Hand to Hand Mission, Haiti for the first time. Our mission team ministered to the people of the region, bring much need school supplies, shoes and Luci solar lights. While in Haiti I also became the Godmother to two beautiful young children for Baptism.
I consider my ministry as an outreach that impacts people for Christ but also an opportunity for me to grow in my faith as a Christian. I also look forward to the challenges that missionary work brings along with its rewards in spiritual growth. The most exciting opportunity of missionary work is to serve my Lord Jesus Christ, which is the greatest joy.
In Christ’s Service,
